Private sessions are available in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

Yoga Basics – Yoga fundamentals for the beginner or anyone wanting to deepen their yoga practice. In private sessions it is possible to explore safe alignment, breath, yoga philosophy, dietary habits and to rehabilitate injuries and specific health conditions. The beginner can learn yoga posture names in both English and Sanskrit.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga – Classic yoga poses practiced in a steady flowing sequence with an attention to alignment and breath. Vinyasa is a vigorous, athletic style of yoga. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels can all benefit from private Vinyasa sessions where attention to detail can refine each pose and help create a safe, vigorous, injury-free practice.

Meditation – The foundations of a meditation practice can be learned in a few private sessions. Ideally, after being introduced to the basic practices and theory of meditation a client will then continue on with their own regular home practice.

Pilates Mat (with or without props) – A strong core and a healthy supple spine can be cultivated with mat based Pilates. In private sessions Pilates exercises can be learned and practiced with the precision needed to be safe and effective. Beginner & Intermediate level.

Safe Stretch for Men and Women –  A hands on approach to stretching that is safe and effective, even for the most flexibility challenged bodies and minds. Appropriate for everyone, any age and any fitness level, and especially for anyone managing an injury. The foam roller is used in this work to help release tight connective tissue and can even help rehabilitate old scar tissue.

Private sessions allow for the instructor and client to identify specific areas of challenge, to set specific goals and for the instructor to give hands-on adjustments when safe and necessary for optimal results. Both overly flexible people who are working on building strength and also tighter people working on increasing their flexibility can greatly benefit from hands on adjustments in conjunction with the use of some basic props such as the foam roller, yoga blocks, pilates magic circle, yoga belt and blanket.

Private sessions are also perfect for anyone with a busy schedule who can’t find the time to attend group classes or for those who simply enjoy the increased support and motivation that a series of private sessions provides.
